After arguing with her boyfriend, Jessica takes a short cut home through a local park only to decide that perhaps the long way is probably safer, especially with the homeless man that seems so intrigued by her.

Jessica almost makes it back to the road but is attacked and knocked out, only to wake up in an abandoned building belonging to a mysterious elderly man who she attacks in order to escape.

However, by doing this has Jessica just made a terrible mistake?

Conspiracy Street - Short Film (Pre-production)

‘Magic Dust Productions’ very next project aims to mix innovative storytelling with puppetry. An intriguing plot will not be accompanied by dialogue or sound effects as the intention of this film is to provoke the audience to develop their own thoughts based on brief, voyeuristic sightings of three potentially bizarre characters, who are neighbours on Conspiracy Street.

Falling Away With You - Feature Film (Pre-production)

A project that will bring many firsts to the company – it will be the first Feature that ‘Magic Dust Productions’ have created, it is the first screenplay that Jody Medland has written in the Romance/Comedy Drama genre and will also offer Jody Medland his acting debut within the film industry.The story begins on the evening of a young couple’s wedding night. Feeling happier than ever before and surrounded by his nearest friends and family members at an idyllic location, Rueben Wallis discovers a piece of information that threatens to ruin everything he has ever worked towards.Although very tight-lipped on the project, Jody concedes “This is very much an experimental project. There is no budget and for the film to get made we will have to pull in a lot of favors, which we’ve gotten used to, but I’m quietly confident that once finished, it could really surprise a few people.”.

Teaser Trailer – Trailer (Pre-production)

Due to certain complexities, the specific details of this project must remain a secret for the purposes of ‘Magic Dust Productions’ and its staff.However, what can be revealed is that Jody Medland has adapted a Screenplay from an already existing franchise and wishes to gain the necessary rights that will allow ‘Magic Dust Productions’ to make a Live-action Feature.To do this, he has already assembled a team that will allow him to prepare a package of the Screenplay, Synopsis, Conceptual Artwork and the Teaser Trailer that he intends to present to the copyright holders in a bid to make the film, which would be the companies first US Feature.

Hansel & Gretel: Retold – Short Film (Fundraising)

A creepy, twisted re-telling of the classic children’s fable tells the story of a young boy who is forced to make a stand when both the post war depression and his scheming stepmother threaten to tear his beloved family apart. He figures that the only achievable solution is to enter a nearby forest and steal the fortune of an eccentric, elderly widow who became a recluse after her husband’s brutal murder 21 years ago.‘Magic Dust Productions’ are currently awaiting a response from their application to the Berlin Arts Council as well as seeking other possible funding possibilities.

The Moors – Feature Film (Location Scouting)

England, 1973. Amanda Connors begins work in a children’s care home situated in the very heart of the moors. Soon enough, we discover that she is actually an undercover journalist investigating rumors of abuse towards the children. However, as she begins to unravel the family’s deep, dark history she stumbles upon a secret that is more shocking than anything she could have prepared herself for.This is scheduled to be the companies first Theatrically Released Feature, with Scott Cinemas already agreeing to screen the film commercially for a minimum of seven consecutive days.
